One of my favorite features of the ASUS ROG Astral 5080 GPU is its long LED light bar. You can customize it using Armoury Crate, or further customize it using Aura Creator. I wanted to replicate KITT’s chasing light effect from Knight Rider. Here’s how I set it up.

After reviewing several videos online, I decided to use this video as my reference, which closely resembles the speed and effect from the TV series. This effect is possible only using Aura Creator.

Note: the fastest speed of the effect is still slower than the real-life version. I had to slow down the swish sound effect in my video below in order to match the speed of the Astral light bar:

Steps to create using Aura Creator

1. Create a new layer, selecting your GPU. Alternatively, create additional layers for your other RGB Aura Sync-enabled devices.

2. Add Comet effect twice, 1 second each.

3. Set speed to max for both.

4. First comet’s angle is 0 degrees.

5. Second comet’s angle is 180 degrees.

6. Click Save & Apply and enjoy!
